Mas de Gourgonnier Les Baux De Provence Sans Soufre 2016
A wonderfully textured and fresh red blend, crafted with the same grapes the estate uses for its straight Les Baux rouge but with no added sulfur at any point in the winemaking process. Sulfur is an additive used as an antioxidant and antibacterial; the Cartier family believes if grapes are healthy and vinification careful, a winemaker doesn't need to add sulfur to boot. The proof is in the bottle! Aromas of lavender and sage, light peppery spice. Flavors of black cherries, plums, baking spices Food Pairing: Grilled steak, lamb, richly flavored cheeses.
