Kistler Bodega Headlands Cuvée Elizabeth Pinot Noir 2012
Bodega Headlands Vineyard, the source for the Cuvee Elizabeth since 2004 is Kistler's westernmost planting. It sits atop the last set of headlands before the ocean meets the town of Bodega. Their coolest site, harvested in some years two to three weeks later than the others. A wine of intense blue and black fruit tones, wildflowers and minerals. A lingering perfume contributes to an impression of delicacy. A singular wine that embodies the character of this unique site.
